A published novelist and poet, I am a member of Dover Monthly Meeting (New England) and would identify myself as a Convergent Friend. I came to Quakers after a sojourn in a yoga ashram in Pennsylvania, and have been active in meetings in Ohio (Conservative), Indiana (FUM), Washington State (NPYM), and Baltimore along the way. I blog at JNANA'S RED BARN as a primary outlet as well as at AS LIGHT IS SOWN for the more detailed Quaker essays and at the ORPHAN GEORGE CHRONICLES for the genealogical findings.
Did you know that QuakerQuaker is 100% reader supported? Our costs run to about $50/month. If you think this kind of outreach and conversation is important, please support it with a monthly subscription or one-time gift.
