Hello, Jane!
I remember traveling through the Navaho Reservation with my family when I was 11 years old. Tribal folks were living in hogans then and, because it was in September, they had long strings of dried peppers hanging on the walls around the entrances to their homes. That was approximately 60 years ago!!
