I've been a member for 20 odd years. My local meeting is part of Britain Yearly Meeting, in the liberal tradition. I came to Friends as a result of a number of converging threads in my life; as a reaction against inclusion by creedal criteria, an interest in justice reform and, it emerges, because much of my mother's god language had come down thro' her family from a [disowned]quaker grandfather.
