Time to relax and be is one of the main attractions of life at Pendle Hill. However, I soon became involved in various duties and projects and so have written nothing, and now we have just three weeks left.

It is time to expand on that picture a bit. We will have been here two weeks tomorrow. This week we are fairly busy, involved in the resident students’ orientation week. We started with tea at the Director’s house, which was not the chatty tea party I had been expecting, but was an occasion to share in a deep way, what had been our journey here. We arrived at the end of the day of Staff Retreat in Pendle Hill – so were quickly shown our room, given 10 minutes to spruce up, and taken to Media, the town nearby, for pizza. Then back to our room and to bed by about 8pm here – already 1am in the time zone we’d woken in.
