I grew up in the Church of England in Oxfordshire, routed via an evangelical/charismatic church in Durham while at uni, and have settled for now in the Glasgow Quaker meeting.
I'm a physics graduate, a deep ecologist, a climate activist and a renewable energy researcher. I am in a stage of my life where I am still seeking truth and exploring choice and purpose. I don't cope well with what I see happening in the world around me, and the quietness of listening brings me peace.
I am interested in intentional/spiritual/ecological communities and am looking at communal living off the land in Scotland. I am also involved with the Scotland-Malawi Project, to assist with international development and social enterprise in one of the poorest countries in the world, that is hit badly by global injustice.
I'm glad to have found Quaker Quaker, and I look forward to connecting with others through this site.
