Hi Alice! Thanks for reading my comment! The other day when i posted that comment i was dealing with a bit of "spiritual crisis" due to the fact that one of my friends is dying of terminal cancer...as a former "conservative holiness christian" i was taught that my prayers could affect the outcome of her struggle...sometimes as a Liberal Quaker i feel(from the mainstream liberal literature at present) i feel like i can pray or "hold my friend in the light" as much as possible BUT i can't affect anything. I know i am making broad sweeping generalizations right now but it's been a struggle! I love being a Quaker! I really do! My new found faith in the Light has been all i have been searching for for years and more...there is just some "residual" stuff still popping up from my Strict Christian faith from before. Any thoughts for me?
