- I'm new and not yet a Friend, but am learning as much as I can. I became interested and moved as I was listening to Parker J. Palmer's 'Let Your Life Speak.' Since then I started listening to the Quaker Podcasts. I'm a 40 year old woman living in a country-esque neighborhood in WV, with a wonderful boyfriend, 6 sheep, 11 chickens and two cats.
