I love to sew my own clothes too! I think it’s a great way to embody the “plain dress”. I’d love to see how your plain patterns turn out! Thanks for commenting!
I am very led to plain dress and am in the process of taking the big dive and rehoming my modern-style clothes.I found some good Friend Patterns and Mennonite/Amish patterns, too which will keep me busy this summer. I am hoping that I will not sew one arm too much longer than the other!
