What is missing from the Evangelical Friends church today? How can we revive the church and reach out to others? I think the term "Evangelical" is different to those in the Friends tradition and a lot of people get scared to explore our church because they fear it will be a mega-conservative church; much like other denominations that use the term "Evangelical" to describe themselves. Evangelical Friends are really moderate amongst the spectrum of Christian churches today; but, let me be clear they are not "lukewarm" Christians. I think they have an amazing, unique blend of traits that would satisfy a lot of Christians spiritual hunger. They can fill a void most are missing from other churches. We, as Evangelical Friends, must reach out to all: Christian and non-Christian alike. The questions are: What is missing? How do we reach out? How do we educate people about the Friends?
