Connect for life north - a Quaker inspired network in uk

Friends might be interested in this network which was inspired by local Quaker action in North East England.
In July 2010 Friends in Pickering in North Yorkshire were involved in organising a conference entitled Connect for Life with Satish Kumar as the principal speaker. As a small town we were delighted that over 160 people enjoyed the day. The day was funded through an outreach fund held by local Friends and following the day a new network started to develop. Please have a look at this network called Connect for Life North and if you feel led please join us as we develop this as a means of sharing ideas and contacts and being a small part in buidling a new, just and more sustainable world.
