Dedicated to raising awareness of our spiritual nature, the Manhasset Monthly Meeting is holding a one day Soul Festival to allow the Light to shine on our souls.  Through Quaker worship and contemporary music to food and fellowship, attenders will be given the opportunity to evaluate and in some cases re-evaluate, their lives in a world dominated by materialistic pleasures, desires and needs.  Hoping the Light will help us obtain experiential knowledge of our Spiritual nature speakers will share their understanding of the soul and its affects on our material world, including our physical and emotional health, based on their particular interests and backgrounds.  Attenders will be encouraged to ask questions of the speakers and the day will end in quaker worship affording the spirit the opportunity to speak out of the silence.
