Conference Theme: "On and Beyond the Page"

Saturday's events with Gabe Ehri and Martin Kelley:

3pm: “From Do-It-Yourself to Big Quaker Publishing: The Spectrum and How it Serves Readers and Writers.” Participants will have a chance to share their motivations, their influences, and their audience, and discuss what defines their place in the spectrum. We will explore themes including:

  • The reader’s ecosystem
  • How the way we read and write is changing
  • What barriers go up when barriers to self-publishing fall
  • Going viral:  the path from blogger to “public Friend”
  • Discovering what motivates the audience for Quaker books and media
  • Finding sustainability in your niche
