Event Description

Bible Study / Unprogrammed Worship / Nurturing God's gifts in each other

Do you long for deep spiritual worship with other Friends - like early Friends wrote about? Do you want to have time & space to listen to the promptings of the Spirit in community with other Friends? Have you enjoyed the opportunity to join in "worship sharing in the name of Jesus" at YM sessions? Would you like the opportunity to develop & deepen spiritual connections with other New England Friends & enjoy a time of fellowship with them?

Over the past 350 years, Friends have developed unique ways of seeking & following God's voice in community. We have used many words to describe the way we feel God working in our hearts. Some of us refer to the Light Within, the Inner Light, the Light of Christ, the Inward Christ... Some of us seek to follow Jesus. Many of us have felt the transforming power of the Holy Spirit!

We will try to create a space where we can encourage this type of deep spiritual connection and experience to happen among us.

Child Care only by advanced request (please reserve by Nov. 13th). Suggested contribution of $5-25 per person. To register or for questions, contact Connie Bair-Thompson at bairthompson@charter.net or 774-481-1212.

It was worth the trip. Thank you, Lord, thanks, Friends.

Let Friends be encouraged to prepare their minds, hearts and spirits for listening, hearing, and faithfulness on this day of worship and nurture.
