Event Description

  • Do you long to strengthen your connection to God and be empowered in service?
  • Do you wish for a substantial experience of theological exploration without graduate school or seminary?

Fire is a compelling image in the Christian heritage that reminds us of God’s dynamic energy and strength. Quakers know this Power inwardly as it guides and transforms people to serve others in small daily ways or larger formal ministries. Read more here.

This weekend offers an experiential approach to spiritual growth through contemplative study and reflection in community. It provides a taste of a longer series of retreats planned for 2012-2013 with the Way of the Spiritprogram, informed by the School of the Spirit Ministry.

Facilitators
Christine Betz Hall, Quaker spiritual director/guide, retreat leader & Good News Associate http://goodnewsassoc.org/

In collaboration with Nate Macy, Quaker pastor & musician http://natemacy.com/
