Event Description

All Friends are warmly invited to the 2010 Midwinter Gathering of Friends for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Concerns at the Graymoor Spiritual Life Center in the Hudson Valley of New York State. Friends for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Concerns is a North American Quaker faith community that affirms that of God in all people. Gathering twice yearly for worship and play, we draw sustenance from each other and from the Spirit for our work and life in the world. We are learning that radical inclusion and radical love bring further light to Quaker testimony and life.

Midwinter Gathering will be Friday, February 12 to Monday, February 15, 2010 with the theme "Stitching our quilts, Waving our banners". Join us!

This gathering Is held in a different location each year and is organized by the FLGBTQ committee of Friends General Conference, so it's possible that the next one will be closer to home for thee. ;)
