Event Description

ESR will host PeaceQuest 2015 on Saturday, May 16th. Join peace activists from all over the world to learn and celebrate peace-making techniques. Interactive workshops will run in four tracks: personal, local, global and parent/child. Mary Lord, Quaker peace activist, will be the keynote speaker.

Registration fee is $20 and there is no charge for children 16 and under. Scholarships are available. To register or submit a workshop idea, contact David Zarembka at dave@aglifpt.org. Learn more about Friends Peace Teams here

8-9 am - Registration, coffee & bagels
9-9:30 am - Meeting for worship
9:30-10:45 am - Keynote Speaker, Mary Lord
10:45-11 am - Break
11 am-12:30 pm - First series of workshops
12:30-1:30 pm - Simple lunch
1:30-3 pm - Second series of workshops
3-3:15 pm - Break
3:15-4:30 pm - Peacemaking panel/Closing
