He has also appeared in television documentaries about Jesus and the Bible. He is especially vocal in the field of Historical Jesus studies.
Crossan will present four lectures while in Richmond on the topic of Jesus and Paul: Continuity or Discontinuity. Three of the four lectures will take place on the ESR campus, with the first at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 16th in the ESR Center Gathering Area. On Saturday, April 17th, Crossan will continue this theme with lectures at 10:00 am and 7:00 pm, both also in the ESR Center Gathering Area.
To conclude his lecture series, Crossan will speak at First Friends Meeting in Richmond beginning at 11:00 am. All of these lectures are free and open to the public.
