Traces Center traveling exhibit: "Held on the Homefront: German POWs in the U.S., 1943-46"

The traveling "BUS-eum" or bus museum of the Traces Center for History and Culture stopped over QuakerRanter HQ this weekend in-between stops at local libraries. We hosted driver Irving Kellman over the weekend.

The bus currently displays a traveling exhibit on German POW’s in the US during World War II. I asked Irving to give us the story of the German POWs on video.

Both the POW camps and the current Traces Center has lots of Quaker connections, as you might guess. I have more links on my Quaker Ranter blog post on the visit.
