Last Friday I had one of those too rare moments when I got something right.  I made the right decision and became less of me and more of God.  Not only that but God showed me that as a vessel what I had done had allowed him to scrape yet another thin layer of flesh from the inside of this vessel that I am and fill that newly created space with more of Him.  Something that has been going on in one way or another for my whole life but more evident, to me at least, over the past 40 years.  I love to sing the song "melt me, mold me, fill me" as a prayer but in an instant last Friday I saw that God stands ready to fill me instantly as soon as I give up my right to be justly angry, critical, or judgmental.  As soon as I say yes to taking the path of love, forgiveness and understanding, He is there to remove another layer of my flesh that is centered on self and its rights, needs and privileges and fill that newly created space within with more of Him.

Thank you for sharing, particularly the reminder to make more room for Him by letting go of our selves.

Peace be with you all
