I was doing some research and came across a great idea when you dont have a meeting close why isn't it possible to create one in say a hospital, or county jail, or even prison!! this i believe would not only start a new meeting that could become part of the yearly meeting but it also services a community that might be interested in the quaker way that can not come to meeting!!!!

We are not the people to do this, not as we are now. I have been very disappointed, over the years, in learning how and why we fall short of the power/intention of doing anything of the sort.

There is a very short book, the size of two pamphlets, published by Australia Yearly Meeting, googling... Ah:
