Lord,

Take from me the desire to look like a good person (anymore, to anyone).

It's not that we aren't all people trying to be free and right and gentle to others but the fact is that being good is a boogyman.

There is no "being good". That's a fallacy and always incomplete information -- and always failing to consider who was generous to us or made it easy on us, or our clarity about how righteous we are...knowing properly that this is only: "our clarity about how righteous we are". It is not being good.

There is no "being bad" either -- in that we have cause, and pain and hardships we scarcely comprehend, but we also have gifts which make us think something is wrong with us. Reality of these matters is God's, and was and IS never to be reduced to finding ourselves evil.

WithOUT judgment and condemnation, be willing to see what you are. (There is judgment and condemnation even in seeing yourself as "good enough" or "good" because you are inherently stating that you only have some received grace or another because you were on those terms.)

Let go and know that there is no "good enough". It is all a lie. There is only resting in God / the Divine source.... which you will never achieve on your own. That peace is not given to You Who Do Things on Your Own.
